The Outcome

DG global has designed, managed and delivered the Deakin Open Days events for the past 4 years and was engaged to provide a significant uplift the overall experience of the Deakin Open Days to that that had previously been delivered, under the Theme of A Different Perspective. Key elements of the creative execution included: A live ‘festival’ band stage with multiple bands and headline acts; Custom designed interactive sculpture artwork; A food truck park and market stalls; Segway rides; A complete implementation of over 200 event staff to act as guides and to assist people as they made their way around the Campus. Creative concept design of the overall program, Full Production Management of all aspects of the event (as above); stage management; graphic & content design/ creation; film and media creation (post Event Highlights package), talent selection and management audiovisual provision and management; and all selection and liaison with all suppliers and providers – including all logistical, OHS and Operational functions.
